Getting Old
Our baby girl is turning into an old mule. She spent her second birthday with close family and friends of the furry kind. Enjoy!

2 Yr. Checkup. She loves that milk. 75th percentile all kids in weight, 95th percentile in height! and of course, 95th percentile in head circumference (a big ol' Asian brain)

As a result of generous vacation time, the Le Family has been enjoying much-needed "Summer Fridays" well into the Fall. The past long weekend, the fam decided to recharge and relax by vacationing in Lakeway for the Emmaus Fall Fest where Fayte was able to get up close and personal with friends of the furry kind. By the time of the next post, another lil' one will be here (Connor Robert) and maybe someone special will be two years old!

Fayte didn't have as much luck with the calf. It's okay. We had burgers for lunch.
The Le Family took off of work for the Red River Shootout and Fayte was able to enjoy her first Texas State Fair. Uncle Mark even came in from Afghanistan to enjoy the traditional deep fried Texas fare. Last year's strangest food was deep fried coca cola. This year it was a whole slew of dishes including deep fried cookie dough, fried latte, fried peach cobbler on a stick and fried guacamole to go along with traditional favorites like fried cheesecake and fried snickers. All were good, but nothing beats the original State Fair Fletcher's Corn Dogs, which Fayte scarfed down like Hot Dog Eating Champ Kobyashi.
Other than the Texas loss in a very good close game, it was a great weekend. We can't wait to enjoy said corn dogs again next year! Here's Fayte showing her support for the Horns. "Texas! Texas! YEE HAW!"

Mountain air, a family wedding and GREAT FOOD. The Le Unit may have left their hearts in New York but they certainly left their stomachs at the Casa De Suenos in Tualarosa.
Watch out! Now that Fayte is one and a half, she's tall enough to reach the pedal on that beautiful Jeep that Mimi and Papa gave her. In fact, she's been drinking so much milk (much of it the Chocolate variety thanks to softie Dad) that she has climbed into the 95th percentile of tallest children her age! Could we be seeing the development of a future female Yao Ming? We'll just have to wait and see. Better stock up on that Nesquick!
Normally, Fayte and company will not go to a baseball game unless the teams playing are in pinstripes or burnt orange, but Team Le made an exception when Uncle Schwartz scored some amazing tickets to the Texas Rangers vs. Detroit Tigers game. The seats were right above the Detroit dugout where we had a great view of the mascot and the live dot race! Hey, when you watch the worst team in baseball, you gotta focus on the good things!
