The BIG October Update

Fayte picks up Spanish from somewhere (nobody knows where but we're guessing it's her nanny), cold weather hits Dallas, A new addition to the growing Le Family is welcomed and Halloween! It's been a big month and next month's update is sure to be just as big with Fayte's birthday and Thanksgiving coming up.

We were floored by the surprise that Fayte can count En Español! We're thinking she picked it up from her nanny.

What a difference 3 hours north on Interstate 35 makes. Fayte needed to go shopping for coats early this year.

Fayte also needed a matching hat.

A new addition to the Le Family! Mom and Fayte were on hand in Abilene for Aunt Kristi's new bundle of joy, Connor Robert.

Connor was also a big baby weighing in at 8 lbs. 3 oz. A very proud Grandpa and cousin watch Connor's first moments through the nursery window.

Welcome to the jungle, Baby!

Fayte thinks Connor misses his Mom.

One proud Mommy!

Fayte sings for Connor, hoping to wake him up.

Fun On The Farm

These shots were taken on the fam's new killer iPhones!

As a result of generous vacation time, the Le Family has been enjoying much-needed "Summer Fridays" well into the Fall. The past long weekend, the fam decided to recharge and relax by vacationing in Lakeway for the Emmaus Fall Fest where Fayte was able to get up close and personal with friends of the furry kind. By the time of the next post, another lil' one will be here (Connor Robert) and maybe someone special will be two years old!

The Le Family's favorite animal of them all.

Fayte and "Peanut" the pony.

Fayte didn't have as much luck with the calf. It's okay. We had burgers for lunch.

Baby back ribs.

TX/OU Weekend!

The Le Family took off of work for the Red River Shootout and Fayte was able to enjoy her first Texas State Fair. Uncle Mark even came in from Afghanistan to enjoy the traditional deep fried Texas fare. Last year's strangest food was deep fried coca cola. This year it was a whole slew of dishes including deep fried cookie dough, fried latte, fried peach cobbler on a stick and fried guacamole to go along with traditional favorites like fried cheesecake and fried snickers. All were good, but nothing beats the original State Fair Fletcher's Corn Dogs, which Fayte scarfed down like Hot Dog Eating Champ Kobyashi.

Other than the Texas loss in a very good close game, it was a great weekend. We can't wait to enjoy said corn dogs again next year! Here's Fayte showing her support for the Horns. "Texas! Texas! YEE HAW!"

These are soooooooo good.

Fayte agrees. We had to snap this shot QUICKLY.

The best way to enjoy cookie dough? Deep fried of course!

"I can't wait to enjoy your roasted leg later today."

Mom and Fayte look down on the poor Sooner fans below.

If you look closely, you can see foam on the Le Ladies' legs. The FUNHOUSE was just that CRAZY.

Fayte and friend (Uncle Mark won her) enjoy the view of the Cotton Bowl from the GIANT Texas Star Ferris Wheel.
