A New YouTube Champion!

While uploading the latest installment of FayteTV, we noticed that MURDER ME ELMO has surpassed the original BOOTY-SHAKIN' VIDEO with nearly 4,000 unique views! We are still blown away by how much attention that first dance video received and are really surprised now that another video was able to receive as much interest. We're ecstatic that Fayte's antics are making people smile. We've been lazy with posting new videos up lately, but after seeing the response, we might have to dust off that videocamera again.

In case you forgot, here they are again:

As always, thanks for the support!

Another Asian Woman Driver Hits The Road

Watch out! Now that Fayte is one and a half, she's tall enough to reach the pedal on that beautiful Jeep that Mimi and Papa gave her. In fact, she's been drinking so much milk (much of it the Chocolate variety thanks to softie Dad) that she has climbed into the 95th percentile of tallest children her age! Could we be seeing the development of a future female Yao Ming? We'll just have to wait and see. Better stock up on that Nesquick!

Mommy! He's Eating The Squirrel!!!

Next on the Summer to-do list were the zoos. After already visiting the Dallas Zoo, it was time to pay our furry friends in Fort Worth a visit. The place was huge and held its own against the Bronx Zoo. We saw apes, baboons, elephants, hippos, rhinos, tigers, bears...you name it, we saw it. The highlight of the day however came at the Cheetah habitat.

When we first arrived, the two cheetahs were lazily resting in the bamboo thickets. Dad noticed a squirrel frolicking about and asked, "That's funny, I thought cats chased rodents." Bored, we started to leave when all of a sudden we heard a loud roar. In the blink of an eye, one of the cheetahs darted 25 yards and snatched up the squirrel much to the delight of the adult witnesses, and to the horror of the younger audience! Stupid squirrel.

Said cheetahs

Slightly nervous that the rhinos are right below me.

Rhinos!

A white tiger!

Nervous?

Looks delicious.

We stopped and got Fayte some boots from the Justin factory on the way home.

Later on that week, we visited the Dallas World Zoo and Aquarium, an indoor rain forest right in the middle of Downtown Dallas. Complete with waterfalls, lagoons, imported plants and rocky terrain, you really feel like you're in the Amazon. While it was really cool seeing all the exotic creatures in a realistic environment, we felt it was a bit overpriced. It costed more than twice as much as the Ft. Worth Zoo and there were only a quarter of the animals. Regardless, it was still a good time.
One BIG cat

Upon seeing this creature, Fayte squealed, "Mmmmm Pasta!"

Tortuga!

More Summer Fun At The Ballpark

Normally, Fayte and company will not go to a baseball game unless the teams playing are in pinstripes or burnt orange, but Team Le made an exception when Uncle Schwartz scored some amazing tickets to the Texas Rangers vs. Detroit Tigers game. The seats were right above the Detroit dugout where we had a great view of the mascot and the live dot race! Hey, when you watch the worst team in baseball, you gotta focus on the good things!

Fayte took this picture of herself

Guess who she's pointing to?

It was that stupid horse that she couldn't get enough of! Looks like the fellahs from the glue factory showed up.

A Le Family favorite, Ex-Yankee Gary Sheffield.

Speaking of "Sheff" the Chicago-style Hot Dogs at the stadium were AMAZING

Though Uncle Schwartz claims that his Jumbo Chili Dog with grilled onions was the best dog he'd ever had. Judging by sight, what do you think?

Dallas Museums

The first items on the to-do list this Summer were the museums. First we went to the Museum of Science and Nature and the Children's Museum in Fair Park (Cotton Bowl) where we got to see lots of cool things like a giant T-Rex! We also visited the planetarium which Fayte found so peaceful that she decided to take a nap. Shortly after entertaining our left brains, we decided to be fair to our right brains and visited the Dallas Museum of Art. It was a very nice surprise to find that the museum was of the same caliber as the ones the family was used to in New York. The collection was HUGE and we were very happy to have been able to see great works from before Christ and from artists such as Picasso, Rivera, O'Keefe and Pollack. If you plan on visiting this museum, be sure to set aside at least a few hours because it is that extensive.
